Asia Gulf Trading LLC (La Carne Premium Meat) Terms & Conditions of Sale:

1. General

We aim to excel in the quality of our produce and the service we provide. By shopping with us online you can expect high standards,  just as our shop customers do.  The natural state of our meat products and the love & care given to them by our La Carne butchers allow us to deliver a distinct and high eating quality experience every time you order.  Slight variations may naturally occur on our natural or raw products from time to time in terms of appearance, marbling, fat content, color, size, weight and tenderness.     All our goods and services comply with all the required food safety standards and regulations imposed by Abu Dhabi Food Control and Department of Economy of the capital city of Abu Dhabi. When shopping with us online, a Contract of Sale is made at the time we accept your order, and the contract shall be under UAE law, irrespective of where you are. By confirming your order on the website you accept these terms and conditions.
Definition of terms:
  1. Store or Company – refers to La Carne Premium Meat Shop or Butchery and/or its owner, Asia Gulf Trading LLC (AGT). The words “We”, “Us” and “Our” refer to this same entities.

  2. La Carne Premium Meat (LC) – is a registered trademark or brandmark of Asia Gulf Trading LLC

2. Delivery service and timings

Within Abu Dhabi city limits (island), we offer free delivery for a minimum of 150 dirhams. We offer free delivery to most other UAE locations for a minimum of 300 dirhams. We are able to offer delivery to addresses within city limits of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah according to our delivery schedule. Additional delivery fee may be charged in remote areas subject to our company’s confirmation of your request. Arranging special delivery to Ruwais or Western Region of Abu Dhabi, for example, would incur an additional fee of AED 50.

We will strive to achieve the delivery time of within 1 to 3 days of placing your order, before 6pm, unless otherwise arranged with us directly. Although we will try everything we can to complete delivery by a certain time frame, it may not always be possible due to unforeseen circumstances (traffic, accidents etc).

3. Delivery Arrangements

All orders are dispatched either using our in-house temperature-controlled delivery vehicle or a licensed third party chilled delivery service.  Our delivery system enables us to deliver across the seven emirates as well as remote locations.La Carne products are packed and handled with love and care in food-safe condition during transit in chilled temperatures between 0 to 4 degrees Celsius.

VERY IMPORTANT! When placing your order, it is important that someone should be at home to take delivery of your order during your requested time frame; the trained delivery drivers will have instructions to leave your delivery in a reasonably secure place at the premises if there is one available. The drivers know they are carrying perishable goods. The delivery shall be deemed to have been made either when the consignee accepts delivery in person, or when the driver leaves your delivery at the unattended premises.  

La Carne cannot accept any responsibility for your order whatsoever if no one is at home at the time of delivery and is left in a secure location and if contact information is inaccurate. If you have nominated someone else to accept your delivery for you, La Carne cannot accept any responsibility for any deterioration in goods delivered in terms of temperature and quality.  Returned items will not be refunded to the above reason.

4. Acceptable Weight Variation

When you place your order, you agree to purchase by piece or based on nominal weight of produce at a specified price. We will collect the payment via the payment method you select when placing the order.  Slight variation may occur in quality, weight and size since our products are indvidually prepared or cut-to-order.  We will ensure that any variation never exceed more than or less than 10% of any item specified.  Since it is impractical for us to request additional payments or process small refunds for such variations, items delivered within the tolerance limit of +/- 10% of the weight ordered shall be deemed completely sold.   Otherwise, please let us know if there is any significant variation so we can fulfill the order to your satisfaction.

5. Guarantee of Satisfaction

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the quality of the produce or service received, you should contact us within 24 hours of receipt. All complaints will be dealt with personally and immediately by our management team, who undertakes to resolve all complaints to your satisfaction within 7 days.

5a. Marbling

Marbling is the term for intramuscular fat or the white flecks and streaks of fat within the lean sections of meatMarbling is so named because the streaks of fat resemble a marble pattern. Also called intramuscular fat, marbling adds flavor and is one of the main criteria for judging the quality of cuts of meat.

Our meat at La Carne is known for good marbling which is key for a great steak experience which is present in most if not all our meat, as well as burgers with 80/20 lean to fat ratio. There are some customers however who prefer leaner or completely lean meat. In this case you can add in preferences that you prefer leaner meat which we will do our best to provide, but 100% lean meat is not our specialty nor can we promise it. In the event that you are not happy with the lean to fat ratio, please do contact us.

6. Non-Delivery Claims

In the event of your order failing to arrive when expected, please contact us by email or by telephone within 24 hours of the expected delivery quoting your order number. We will immediately investigate and let you know the situation. Should your order not be delivered within the time frame stated in the website acknowledgement, you will be entitled to a full and immediate refund in the form of credit voucher.

7. No Cancellation/ No Refund/ No Return/ No Exchange Policy

We strictly observe food safety regulation and public health warnings.  Since our meat products are highly perishable and prepared-to-order for each customer,  we do not accept any cancellation, returns nor any refund request once the order has been placed through any of our sales channels.

8. Disclaimer

Due to the perishable nature of La Carne products,  the Store cannot accept returned goods or claims for goods ordered due to customer error, negligence or failure to take or accept the delivery for any of the following reasons:  

  • No customer or authorized person to receive goods in the given location address at the time of agreed delivery timings;

  • No response from customer or authorized person by call or phone message within 5 to 10 minutes;

  • Inaccurate delivery address location given to us;

  • Wrong number given;

  • Hostile animals at the delivery location harassing the company’s delivery personnel

  • Refusal to accept goods with the tolerance limit

9. Data Protection

We do not capture or store your credit card information in our company system.  When you shop with us, your card information is protected from misuse or harm as our payment gateway are certified to the latest Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). This means that all payments using your card information are done through SSL (secured socket connections, i.e. the https:lacarne.ae in our url), which encrypts all your card account information while in use.

Personal data (such as your name, email, home address and contact number) that you entrust to us will be used exclusively for the purposes of fulfilling your order and communicating with you to help us improve or offer new products and services.   Your details will be held securely, in confidence, and never disclosed to any party outside our operations.  All our personnel and service providers are obliged to sign and comply with our Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreement as part of our data protection policy.  

10. Additional terms and conditions

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE. United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile. Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website. If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
