The First Japanese Wagyu Event in Abu Dhabi

It was an absolute honor of La Carne Premium Meat to work with some of the greatest industry players in Abu Dhabi Hospitality and fine Japanese products on April 14, 2017. For the first time, Japanese Wagyu beef from Hokkaido, Japan had graced the dinner plates of Abu Dhabi residents. The venue was a very special one, the Teatro Restaurant at Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi.

Why was it such a special evening?

1. It was one-of-a-kind. 
2. It was educational! (We brought in Chef Ryuji Higashiyama for the event, a Master Wagyu Butcher) Btw follow him on instagram @master_wagyu 
3. It showed us how one can save more. Wagyu beef is now available at La Carne at affordable prices!
4. It was authentically Japanese. We worked with NH Foods (Nipponham), the 4th largest beef company in the world and Summit Trading, who is the largest distributor of Japanese ingredients and has been in the UAE for more than 40 years!

Chef Ryuji showed us how to best cut Japanese Wagyu. Less is more with Shabu Shabu (Hotpot cuts) and Yakiniku (BBQ cuts).

The trio of Japanese Wagyu beef for the main course was sensational.
